Tahoe Camping

Right after school got out for the year, we went camping with Bret's family.  His Mom and Dad, Rand and Carolyn with Elise and Michael.  Plus our family :)
We went to Tahoe.
Granted the campground was in the middle of the city, literally, there was a Raley's next door.  But I loved how we could walk down a trail to the lake and feel like we were in the great outdoors.
It was lovely.
Here is Susan with four of her beloved grandbabies.

We went on a bike ride.  It was kind of a disaster.  Alaina got left behind and almost lost, we had a flat tire and no available pump (had to ride back to the van), the trailer was acting funny, Dash cried if we weren't moving and I was tired :)

On the way back to the cars on the bike ride we stopped and put our feet in the river.  It was hot so that felt nice.

I'd venture to say that the kids had the most fun at the campground.  It was big and grassy with trees and rocks.  They pretend played the whole time.  Cousins are fun.
