The next day we were in Death Valley we went on a hike in Mosaic Canyon. It wasn't terribly hot but still pretty warm for a hike in the sun.
We saw some pretty neat things. And some awesome rock formations.
We all had fun sliding down the smooth rocks. Even Gramme and Papa did it.
Dash got mad that I told him this was his last time to slide down so h e put his hat over his face to pout.
From there we went to Salt Creek. It was kinda a mistake. The farther South we went the hotter and later it got. There was no water or vegetation to see so all the kids were grouchy that we were still walking around.
So from there we went to the 12 Mule Team Borax mining site.
It was interesting.
