DV Part 2- Scotty's Castle

The next day we went to Scotty's Castle.  This was really neat because my Mom was a park ranger at Scotty's Castle for a little while before her and my Dad got married.

We took the tour.  It was interesting (for those of us who didn't know all the answers already :)

I really loved all the details.  I didnt notice them as a kid.

Dash and Cay were slightly bored by the tour...

This tile in the kitchen told the story of Ferdinand.

Our park ranger tour guide dress for the times when Scotty lived which we thought was pretty neat.

The unfinished pool is always a kid favorite.

After looking at the "dungeon" (under the draw bridge) where my Mom lived while working at Scotty's Castle, we had lunch in the lawn.
