This year, decorating our tree was a little different. Usually Im pretty particular as to what goes where and how the lights are put on. I am a slight (ok, maybe more than slight) perfectionist and I like to have control a little too much. I like the tree to look as nice as it can. This year however, my back was hurting severely. Probably the worse its ever hurt actually. So, I sat on the couch and watched and took pictures. Trying my hardest not to tell people what to do from my sitting position, haha.
Bret and the kids did such a fabulous job. The tree was beautiful and everyone had fun making it that way. So I learned something from all the suffering...things will go well and nicely even if I dont control it all and make it "perfect" :)
