We all know Braelyn is a little more than obsessed with horses. She loves them. She loves to read about horses, she loves to play with play horses and she loves to act like a horse (we are going through a lot of jeans...). So when my Mom said she could pull some strings and have Braelyn meet and ride a horse while we were in Vegas, we got excited.
We went to a ladys house who had a couple horses. Alaina came along to watch.
The horses names we Q, Hayley and Mo. Mo was naughty and the girls couldnt ride him, so we saddles up 17 year old Q. He was very sweet. My Mom relived her horse glory days and got to groom him to get ready to ride.
Sue helped. She was in heaven.
While Q was getting saddled up she made friends with Mo.
Hayley is a beautiful four year old Clydesdale. She was so gentle and sweet.
Up she goes!
Shawn asked if Alaina wanted to ride too, she cautiously agreed and hopped up with Sue.
Then she got to ride alone on Hayley.
And then they both got to ride Hayley.
To work for her time on the horses, Braelyn mucked stalls. We thought she wouldnt like it, but she.loved.it. Hilarious.
She also got to water the horses, give them a treat and watch Mo get a bath.
My little Sue Sue was having the time of her life. She said it was the best day of her life, even better than Disneyland, haha. She later said that it was maybe a little bit not as fun as Disneyland. But we got the point :)
