This year to get our Christmas tree we went outside Markleeville. It was cold and rainy but it was the only time we were going to be able to go for a while. On the way out there we kept seeing these amazing rainbows. We finally stopped and took a picture. The colors were so vibrant, I wish they showed in the picture.
Nolan was super sick (acute bronchitis and the girls were cold so we wanted to make it a quick grab this year. Nolan and Susan found one right away and so did we, but we needed to check around a little more before committing to the first one.
We hiked and walked and climbed and looked and didnt find anything that was as nice as the first one. So Bret cut it down.

On the way home we saw this incredible rainbow. A full bow double rainbow! It was so beautiful. We all got out of the van to look at it. Not Dash, he was asleep :)
