At the end of June our family and my parents went to Cave Lake and Ely for a little trip.
We stayed in a yurt at Cave Lake. It was pretty neat and the kids loved it.
You could see the lake from our campsite.
I didn't go in, but the girls told me the water was SUPER cold.
Dash likes to photobomb. He learned at a young age,
The tires of my parent's trailer BOTH blew out on the way to Cave Lake so they had to go into Ely to get them fixed. While they were gone we went on a little hike around the lake.
Braelyn found a dead fish and couldn't resist poking it with a stick. Kids.
There were these awesome huge dandelion puffs (though for a different weed beside dandelions) the girls found.
My Dad brought the sidecar so we rode around a lot.
This is the view of my Dad I remember from my childhood sitting in the very same sidecar.
We went over to the Charcoal Ovens. They were much bigger than I thought they would be.
And of course when you have climbers in the family, they just cant resist.
We had lunch at a little picnic area at the charcoal ovens.
