Braelyn Sue Turns Seven

Miss Sue turned seven this year!  She is growing to be so much fun and full of energy.  She is loving and helpful and is very thoughtful.  We love our Sue Sue so much.

For her party this year her theme was none other than, HORSES!
The girl is obsessed.

I made this sign out of the old slats from our fence.  My Dad got the horse shoes to complete the look :)

The kids decorated their PVC and cardboard horses and then we lined up for horse races.

Then took a break to climb a tree.

We played some games.
Theres a snake in my boots!

Braelyn wanted to have her party at this particular park because there are horses across the street.  So we all walked over and said hi to them.

Then we played pin the tail on the horse.

The best part was the three legged races.  So much hilariousness going on.

Teams: Elise and Caylee, Braelyn and Clara, Gramme and Dash then Rand and Muchael.
Please note: Braelyn and Clara are tied together with a rubber snake and Dash and my Mom arent tied together at all.

 GO!
(Sue immediately comes loose from Clara)

 And she's free!
(also notice Rand's three legged race technique.)

Cake time!

But we realized we forgot the matches...Papa Greenburg was off to save the day.
Dash was bummed we had to wait.

In the meantime, we opened presents.

 And played around :)

Papa got matches and we sang Happy Birthday :)

After the friends went home we had a family lunch and then opened family gifts.
She got some perfectly awesome red cowgirl boots.

And Gramme gave her a coupon for a cowboy hat.

And she read a letter that said Gramme and Papa are sending her to HORSE CAMP for a week this summer is Vegas.  Needless to say, she was a wee bit excited.

And Auntie Em got her a horse head.  It brought much joyful hysterical laughter.

I gave her my last 1996 Olympic Cabbage Patch Doll.  She was happy to get her.

And lastly, here is my Mom with the horse head on.
I laughed for about 15 minutes when I saw this picture.

Happy Birthday Sue!  We sure love you :)
